Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to E-Facials (https://efacials.marcoponciano.com.br), a microexpression training tool operated by Marco Ponciano. By creating an account, signing in or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
E-Facials offers laboratory clips to practice recognizing microexpressions, with categories (including Free, general training, cinema and tests), speeds, an emotion key, history, dashboard and ranking. It is an educational resource. It is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, nor a professional screening tool.
Videos belong to the platform library and stream on demand from the CDN. Recording, downloading, republishing or redistributing clips, or bypassing signed URLs, is forbidden.
2. Account and plans
- Free: training in free categories; hits do not score on the ranking.
- Trial: temporary access according to the stored expiry date.
- VIP: paid categories; purchase processed by Hotmart. An approved purchase grants VIP; other statuses return to Free.
When a Trial or VIP expiry date ends, the plan falls back to Free. You must keep your email and password safe. Do not share the account. Only support can change the account email.
Sign-up, login and password recovery use a captcha. A new password must have at least 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, a number and a special character.
3. Acceptable use
Use E-Facials for personal study only. Do not attack the platform, exploit flaws, mass-automate exercises, fake results or abuse video error reports. Reports exist so the team can check broken clips.
4. Ranking
The general ranking includes training (not the daily test) by VIP students over the last 12 months. The daily test has its own ranking. In Prova, Geral and Cinema, each hit scores according to the video speed, with points defined in the site settings. Free does not score. The rules box on the dashboard is the up-to-date reference.
5. Payment
Price, recurring billing, refunds and invoices for VIP follow Hotmart and the checkout page. E-Facials grants or removes access according to the status Hotmart sends. Payment questions should also be handled with Hotmart.
6. Account deletion
Only a Free plan may request deletion in the profile. Type exactly SIM (uppercase) and complete the captcha. Active Trial/VIP cannot delete until the plan expires and returns to Free. Deletion permanently removes registration, history and reports. Service administration accounts do not use this flow.
7. Availability and videos
The service depends on the internet, hosting (Locaweb) and the CDN. There may be maintenance, provider failure or a missing clip. Reporting a video helps the team. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or a given professional outcome from training.
8. Intellectual property
Brand, layout, texts, software, emotion key and video library belong to Marco Ponciano or licensors. Student access is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable for as long as the plan allows.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by Brazilian law, the service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for misuse of the trained skills, decisions based on the ranking, or downtime caused by third parties (host, Hotmart, your network).
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms, plans, categories and the service itself. The date at the top is the current version. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the service and, on Free, delete the account.
11. Law
The laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil apply. The courts of the controller’s venue are elected, with express waiver of any other, however privileged. Contact: contato@marcoponciano.com.br.
